How to use it
- Add your .heic or .heif photos.
- Choose JPG (most compatible), PNG or WebP.
- Adjust quality if you like, then press Convert.
- Save each photo or download them all as a ZIP.
Example: sharing photos with a Windows PC
Twenty HEIC photos of about 2 MB each convert to JPG at 92% quality. Each JPG is typically 1.5–2 times the HEIC size, because JPEG compresses less efficiently, but opens everywhere.
Tips
- Safari decodes HEIC natively. Chrome, Edge and Firefox download a decoder once, about 1 MB.
- Photos keep the right orientation automatically.
Privacy
HEIC to JPG runs entirely in your browser. Files are never uploaded, never seen by advertising or analytics scripts, and are removed from this tab 10 minutes after you add your first file, or straight away with Delete now. Copies you save to your device stay yours.
Questions
Why are my JPGs bigger than the HEIC files?
HEIC uses newer compression. JPG needs more data for the same quality.
Is location data kept?
No. The converted image is re-encoded without EXIF metadata, so GPS location is removed.
Can I convert Live Photos?
The still image is converted. The motion part is not included.
